A live-action movie is confirmed today (13th January) for Tomoko Yamashita’s (\u30e4\u30de\u30b7\u30bf \u30c8\u30e2\u30b3) BL manga \u201cThe Night Beyond the Tricornered Window\u201d (\u3055\u3093\u304b\u304f\u7a93\u306e\u5916\u5074\u306f\u591c).<\/p>\n

The movie enthralls fans with a star-studded cast. Masaki Okada (\u5ca1\u7530\u5c06\u751f), left, play as one of the protagonists Rihito Hiyakawa (\u51b7\u5ddd\u7406\u4eba), and Jun Shison (\u5fd7\u5c0a\u6df3), right, as Kosuke Mikado (\u4e09\u89d2\u5eb7\u4ecb).<\/p>\n

\u201cGoodbye, Grandpa\u201d director Yukihiro Morigaki (\u68ee\u30ac\u30ad\u4f91\u5927) is directing the film, and \u201cGravity Clown\u201d scriptwriter Tomoko Aizawa (\u76f8\u6ca2\u53cb\u5b50) is penning the script. The movie is scheduled to film in mid-February.<\/p>\n

Yamashita serialized the manga in Libre Publishing’s Magazine BExBOY since March 2013 and Libre Publishing released the manga’s seventh volume in April 2019. The eighth volume is scheduled to publish on 10th February 2020. The seven volumes have over one million copies in circulation.<\/p>\n

The story centers around shy bookstore clerk Kosuke Mikado, who has the ability to see ghosts and spirits. It is an ability he wishes he didn\u2019t have, since what he sees usually terrifies him. Rihito Hiyakawa, an exorcist whose supernatural powers are as strong as his social graces are weak, doesn\u2019t seem to fear anything, mortal or otherwise. When this odd couple gets together to solve the bizarre cases that come their way, their work methods may not be entirely safe for work…<\/p>\n
