Based on Kii Kanna’s (\u7d00\u4f0a \u30ab\u30f3\u30ca) BL manga with the same title, BLUE LYNX upcoming anime film \u201cL’\u00e9tranger de la Plage\u201d (\u6d77\u8fba\u306e\u30a8\u30c8\u30e9\u30f3\u30bc)<\/a> reveals a key visual and main cast. The film will debut in Japan\u2019s theatres on 11th September 2020.<\/p>\n

The main cast from the drama CD will reprise their roles. Taishi Murata (\u6751\u7530\u592a\u5fd7) will play as Shun Hashimoto (\u6a4b\u672c\u99ff), while Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (\u677e\u5ca1\u798e\u4e1e) will play as Mio Chibana (\u77e5\u82b1\u5b9f\u592e).<\/p>\n

Shun Hashimoto is a gay novelist living in Okinawa, and he becomes attracted to Mio Chibana, an orphaned high school student living with his relatives after his mother’s death. Shun becomes interested in Mio; however, Mio’s reaction to his advances reminds him of the estrangement from his parents after they discovered his sexual orientation. As Shun and Mio grow closer, Mio confesses that he is moving to an orphanage on the mainland but promises to return once he is older.<\/p>\n

Akiyo Ohashi (\u5927\u6a4b\u660e\u4ee3) is directing the film at Studio Hibari, and is also serving as scriptwriter and storyboarder. Kii, a former animator, is supervising the film, and is also drawing the film’s character designs. Mayumi Watanabe (\u6e21\u8fba\u771f\u7531\u7f8e) serves as the chief animation director, while Takashi Hashimoto (\u6a4b\u672c\u656c\u53f2) is the effects animation director.<\/p>\n
