Spike Chunsoft today (29th) announces the development of a new video game for the \u201cRe:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World\u201d (Re:\u30bc\u30ed\u304b\u3089\u59cb\u3081\u308b\u7570\u4e16\u754c\u751f\u6d3b)<\/a> franchise.<\/p>\n

The game titled Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu – Itsuwari no \u014csen K\u014dho\/ Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- The False Royal Election Candidate (Re:\u30bc\u30ed\u304b\u3089\u59cb\u3081\u308b\u7570\u4e16\u754c\u751f\u6d3b \u507d\u308a\u306e\u738b\u9078\u5019\u88dc)<\/a> is set to release this winter for PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>Overview<\/h4>\n

The game will follow the \u201cRoyal Selection\u201d storyline of the TV anime\u2019s first season and feature original \u201cwhat if\u201d story supervised by the novel\u2019s writer Tappei Nagatsuki (\u9577\u6708\u9054\u5e73). Original novel illustrator Shinichirou Otsuka (\u5927\u585a \u771f\u4e00\u90ce) is handling the game’s character illustrations.<\/p>\n

The new title will be a tactical adventure game, while players can also utilize Subaru\u2019s ability of “Return by Death,” which enables him to reverse time by dying.<\/p>\n

One month after Subaru’s new life in another world began, an emissary sent by the Royal castle suddenly appears with news that the Royal selection has been postponed, but offers no reason as to why. The postponement of this grand event that decides the next ruler of the kingdom of Lugunica stirs Subaru and his friends into action.<\/p>\n

They return to the Royal Capital only to find that a sixth candidate has claimed their stake for the throne. But the Dragon Stone prophesied that only five Candidates would be chosen. With one candidate being an imposter, suspicions are immediately cast toward One woman in particular: Emilia.
