The TV anime adaptation of Y\u016bki Yaku\u2019s light novel series \u201cBottom-tier Character Tomozaki\u201d (\u5f31\u30ad\u30e3\u30e9\u53cb\u5d0e\u304f\u3093) is set to premiere in January 2021.<\/p>\n

The series follows high-school gamer Fumiya, who thinks that real life is just a \u201ctrash game.\u201d His perspectives begin to change as it is revealed to him that his perfect classmate Aoi, regards real life as a winnable game and offers to be his walkthrough guide.<\/p>\n

The light novel series has entered the Takarajimasha’s annual light novel guide book \u201cKono Light Novel ga Sugoi!\u201d for four consecutive years and is published for over 1 million copies.<\/p>\n
