Aniplex today (7th January) announces a new 10th anniversary project to commemorate the debut of TV anime \u201cPuella Magi Madoka Magica\u201d (\u9b54\u6cd5\u5c11\u5973\u307e\u3069\u304b\u2606\u30de\u30ae\u30ab).<\/a> A new website, visual and logo by character designer Ume Aoki are also revealed to celebrate the project. Details of the project will be revealed on the website later.<\/p>\n

The \u201cPuella Magi Madoka Magica\u201d TV anime premiered in January 2011. It is animated by Shaft and created by Magica Quartet, an artist collective consisting of director Akiyuki Shinbo, screenwriter Gen Urobuchi, original character designer Ume Aoki, and producer Atsuhiro Iwakami.<\/p>\n

The story follows a group of middle school girls, led by protagonist Madoka Kaname, who make supernatural contracts to become magical girl. In battling surreal enemies known as “witches”, they learn of the anguish and peril associated with their new roles.<\/p>\n

The smartphone game \u201cMagia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story\u201d will hold several campaigns during January 8 ~ 15 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the anime series.<\/p>\n
