Netflix is joining CLAMP for a new fairy tale-based anime project \u201cGrimm\u201d (\u30b0\u30ea\u30e0). The manga artist group CLAMP is credited as the character design. Wit Studio is animating the series. \u201cMermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch\u201d creator Michiko Yokote\u00a0works on the script.<\/p>\n

CLAMP and Netflix formed a partnership in 2020. The project was first announced on Netflix Animation Studio Focus Panel in the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2021 held in France.<\/p>\n

The \u201cGrimm\u201d anime project is based on the Grimms’ Fairy Tales, with a story boldly interwoven with horror and suspense elements.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re honored to be invited to design the characters for this work. It is a new challenge to create designs based on the fairy tales from the Brothers Grimm. The story is a true surprise for all anime fans and we hope everyone will look forward to it,” CLAMP commented.<\/p>\n

The title of the anime project\u00a0is yet to be confirmed. Details will be revealed later.<\/p>\n
