Square Enix announced that the upcoming Gate of Nightmares<\/a>\u00a0mobile game is having a beta test between July 1 and 12. Application for the beta test also opens today on July 16.<\/p>\n

This test is conducted for the purpose of improving the game. A total of 5000 iOS and Android players will be needed. Players can apply for the test until June 25. You have to be a member of Square Enix to apply for the test. Details of the test are as follows:<\/p>\n

\u201cGate of Nightmares\u201d is a completely new RPG developed by Square Enix with the production cooperation of Kodansha.\u00a0\u201cRave\u201d and \u201cFairy Tail\u201d manga author Hiro Mashima works on the game\u2019s character design and world setting.<\/p>\n

\u201cDragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies\u201d\u00a0and “Dragon Quest X Online” Jin Fujisawa\u00a0writes\u00a0the scenario, while \u201cNaruto Shippuden\u201d and \u201cFairy Tail\u201d anime composer Yasuharu Takanashi is composing for the game.<\/p>\n

The game\u00a0sets in “Remrias” (\u30ec\u30e0\u30ea\u30a2\u30b9), a world that mix the real world with people\u2019s dreams. The story centers on Emma, \u200b\u200ba “Nightwalker” who can summon monsters from nightmares, and Azel, a boy whose existence attracts these monsters. An epic adventure begins when their fate is entwined.<\/p>\n
