According to the creator of Pok\u00e9mon Go, John Hanke, the footstep system were removed to improve player safety and other personal security concern.<\/span> On top of the search system removal, player will not be able to estimate which Pok\u00e9mon in the Nearby List is the closest as all Pok\u00e9mon in the Nearby List are randomly placed on the list.<\/span> (E.g. The Old Z-method, which is the Pok\u00e9mon in the top right corner of the Nearby List is the closest to the player, is no longer true. Syndetira Azerith reported that Pok\u00e9mon on the bottom right corner of the Nearby List can still appear right next to him.) Also, all previous known spawn point of certain Pok\u00e9mon had been changed, therefore a greater variety of Pok\u00e9mon might be available in your area right now!<\/span><\/p>\nRight now, there is no incentive for player to loiter into dangerous places<\/span> (e.g. creek, middle of the road and police station!) to search for Pok\u00e9mon, therefore such behaviours will be reduced.<\/p>\nVarious bug fixes during wild Pok\u00e9mon encounter<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nThe Pok\u00e9mon encounter interface had been slightly modified.
\n1. Additional voices\/sounds of the Pok\u00e9mon had been incorporated in the engaging interface.
\n2. Extra dialogue displayed on the screen after Pok\u00e9mon broke free from Pok\u00e9ball.
\n3. Graphic of the background, Pok\u00e9ball and escaping animation have been improved.<\/p>\n
