Creator of Tawawa on Monday, Kiseki Himura confirmed today (20th Sept) that the short anime adaptation will receive a second season. In commemoration of the second season’s confirmation, Kiseki Himura posted an illustration for the new season featuring Ai-chan. The first episode has already aired in Japan on Abema TV. Subsequent episodes will air every Monday at 07:00 JST.<\/p>\n

The main cast of the first season will reprise their roles and new cast members include:<\/p>\n

Maegami-chan – CV: Rie Takahashi
\nImoto-chan – CV: Yuka Iguchi
\nOkaa-san – CV: Kikuko Inoue
\nSensei – CV: Junichi Yanagita<\/p>\n

Returning cast:<\/p>\n

Ai-chan – CV: Sayaka Harada
\nOnii-san – CV: Junji Majima
\nSenpai – CV: Yasuaki Takumi
\nKohai-chan – CV: Ai Kayano
\nVolly-bu-chan (Volley Ball Club-chan) – CV: Shizuka Ishigami<\/p>\n

Some changes has been made to the main staff of the second season. Replacing Kosuke Murayama as director of the new season is Yuki Ogawa. The series’ script will be handled by Hajime Kamoshida. Yukari Yasua is the art director of the second season and Tensho Sato will serve as the new character designer for the series. Koujiro Hayashi is the director of photography and editing will be handled by Ayako Tan. Jin Aketagawa is the only returning staff member from the first season, reprising his role as audio director.<\/p>\n
