The TV anime adaptation of Wataru Watanabe\u2019s Yowamushi Pedal <\/a>cycling manga has confirmed a 5th season that will debut in October 2022. The anime\u2019s season 5 is titled \u201cYowamushi Pedal Limit Break\u201d.<\/p>\n

TMS Entertainment is animating the 5th season and voice actors Daiki Yamashita and Tsubasa Yonaga will reprise their roles as main character Sakamichi Onoda and his rival, Sangaku Manami, respectively.<\/p>\n

Yowamushi Pedal centers on Onoda Sakamichi, a rather timid, anime-loving first-year student at Sohoku High School. His life changes after meeting Imaizumi Shunsuke, a renowned cyclist since middle school, and Naruko Shoukichi, who swept the Kansai cycling championship, he ended up joining the competitive cycling club.<\/p>\n

The first season of the anime series aired from October 2013 to July 2014, followed by a second season aired from October 2014 to March 2015, a third season aired from January to June 2017, a fourth season aired from January to June 2018. The series also inspired a live-action television drama aired in August 2016 and a live-action film released on August 14, 2020.<\/p>\n
