Welcome to the data archive, I am your hosting android R.I.S.E.M.A.R.A. I have received information from Syndetira Azerith that the connection with Pok\u00e9mon Go had been modified and the game data had been updated. In order to keep all gamers in touch with the latest information, I will explain some of the modified contents in detail.<\/p>\n

The following information are from the primary source:<\/p>\n

-Implemented Pok\u00e9mon Appraisal, trainers will now be able to learn about a Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s attack and defense capabilities from their Team Leader (Candela, Blanche, or Spark) to determine which of their Pok\u00e9mon have the most potential for battle.<\/span>
\n-Fixed a bug that kept defeated Pok\u00e9mon at 1HP, these Pok\u00e9mon will now return as fainted Pok\u00e9mon. We are working on rebalancing the training battle, stay tuned.

New Pok\u00e9mon Appraisal System!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In this recent update, a new game feature had been implemented by Niantic on Pok\u00e9mon GO. Trainers from all over the world can now compare their Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s inner status<\/span> (such as Defense, Attack and Health Point), also known as Individual Value (IV) and see which Pok\u00e9mon is worth to spend the \u2018dust\u2019 on. Having such feature available, Niantic Lab successfully reignite most of the Pok\u00e9mon GO trainers by giving them extra incentive to continue exploring and catching more Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n

What is Individual Value (IV)?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For those who is not sure what is IV, please allow me to explain the concept in a few sentences. Pok\u00e9mon comes in different types (e.g. fire, water, electric and etc.) and each type of Pok\u00e9mon have a unique set of base attributes for Stamina, Attack and Defence.<\/span> Despite the fact that a Pikachu will remain as a Pikachu indefinitely unless evolving it, these two same Pok\u00e9mon are \u201cborn\u201d with different inner status. The inner status will not be visible to the trainer, however, these small differences can then be further increase by 0-15<\/span> points on each attribute as the trainer use stardust to power up the Pok\u00e9mon. Unfortunately there is no way to change a Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s inner status, so in conclusion, no Pok\u00e9mon are created equally.<\/p>\n

Team Leader\u2019s Appraisal and meaning behind each dialogue<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Depended on the chosen team, trainers will receives advice from the respective team leader. For those who missed my previous reports, the teams and the leaders are:<\/p>\n

Once the trainer press the \u201cappraisal\u201d button, dialogues from the team leader will be displayed on the screen.<\/p>\n

After the greeting message, the second dialogue indicates the IV range and the Overall Analysis of the selected Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n

The third dialogue is the Stats Attribute Analysis.<\/span><\/p>\n

The IV range start from 0% (no extra stats on attribute set) to 100% (full extra stats on attribute set)<\/span><\/p>\n

If the Pok\u00e9mon have one or more stats equal to its best stat, then the statement will be:<\/p>\n

\u201cI see that its best attribute is its Attack [or] HP [or] Defense. It is matched equally by its Attack [or] HP [or] Defense.\u201d<\/p>\n
