Toei unveiled a new project promotional video for Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e<\/a><\/strong> (To Every You I’ve Loved Before) and Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e (To The Lonely Me That Loved You), two anime film adaptations of Yomoji Otono’s science fiction romance novels. The trailer gives a preview of both films’ staff and also reveals that both movies will open in Japan on October 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But wait two movies? Yes! This is because each movie will have different directors and animation studios, and their stories will be parallel. For instance, To Every You I’ve Loved Before will be directed by Jun Matsumoto at BAKKEN RECORD. On the other hand, To The Lonely Me That Loved You will be directed by Kenichi Kasai at TMS Entertainment. Riko Sakaguchi is the scriptwriter for both films, and Shimano is the character designer for both films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two science-fiction romance novels were published on the same day on June 23, 2016. Both complement each other but can be read in either order. The books take place in a world where traveling to parallel worlds is a common, everyday occurrence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
