Live-action Gintama（銀魂）has just released a teaser video. Gintama is adapted from the manga of the same title, which is illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi and serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump.
According to the video and a list of characters that are included in the movie, the plot is based off the Benizakura Arc（紅桜篇）from the original Gintama. In this arc, Kotaro Katsura is attacked by a member of Kiheitai. The Yorozuya trio (Gintoki, Shinpachi and Kagura) then go searching for him, and the searching eventually turns into bloodshed.
The movie is directed by Yuichi Fukuda. Other actors includes Masami Nagasawa (Tae Shimura), Okada Masaki (Kotaro Katsura), Tsuyoshi Muro (Gengai Hiraga), Yūya Yagira (Toshirou Hijikata), Ryo Yoshizawa (Sougo Okita), Kankuro Nakamura (Isao Kondou), Tsuyoshi Domoto (Shinsuke Takasugi). It will be release in summer 2017.
