Cygames is joining hands with P.A. Works to produce a new TV anime series titled Akiba Maid War. A teaser visual, PV, main cast, and staff were also revealed for the announcement. The release date of the anime is yet to be revealed.
Just as the title suggested, the anime is about the war between the maids in Akibahara. The story centers on Nagomi Wahira, a young girl who returned to Akihabara dreaming of becoming a cute maid. Her adventure as a maid begins after meeting the cool beauty, Ranko Mannen.
“Kedamono Land Management Strategy Room” is credited with the original work for the anime. Sōichi Masui is directing the anime at P.A. Works. Yoshihiro Hiki is overseeing the series scripts, Manabu Nii is the character designer and chief animation director, and Yoshihiro Ike is composing the music at Cygames.
