The staff behind the gameshow also released a list of currently 465 companies from Japan and overseas that will be making it to the game show with booths, as well as for the first time ever, supporting independent developers by allowing Indies to exhibit their games at the convention for free!
Companies that will be appearing at Tokyo Game Show with booths include Aniplex. HoYoverse, Capcom, Konami, Gungho, Koei Tecmo Games, Sega / Atlus, Nintendo, and many more. The list of companies with booths at the show can be found here. Currently, the exhibit has over 1902 booths for visitors, with more expected as indie developers eventually make their way to TGS.

▍About Tokyo Game Show
Tokyo Game Show is the yearly games conference set in Tokyo. Viewers can expect loads of news about existing, and newly announced games from mostly Japanese developers from trailers, world-premiere gameplay, interviews, and more. The show has been running since 1996 and runs every year around September. The live game show was canceled in 2021 but ran with an online live stream, and 2022 marks the return of the event to the Makuhari Messe hall.
The theme of 2022’s game show is “Games are unstoppable”, a likely callback to how the show was canceled in the previous year, but will still continue to run.
