Kazuki Takahashi, also known as Kazuo Takahashi was born on October 4, 1961. He was a Japanese manga artist animator, director, and the man responsible for creating the original manga Yu-Gi-Oh! in 1996. His manga lead to the creation of the trading card game played worldwide and published by Konami. He attributed the creation of the card game as a reference to Magic: The Gathering, but quickly found success as the original chapter involving the card blew up and reworked Yu-Gi-Oh! to center entirely around the card game.
