The King Of Fighters XV announced the last team in Season one, Team Samurai featuring the characters from Samurai Shodown, including Haohmaru, Nakoruru, and Darli Dagger! The trailer also announced a second season for the game, extending the lifespan of the title with even more DLC characters, including missing fan favorites, Shingo Yabuki and Kim Kaphwan!
A crossplay update is also coming to the game in 2023, making it far easier for you to find matches in KOFXV, as you will be able to match up against players on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S!

SNK’s fighting game heroes now reunite under one game! Three characters from Samurai Shodown, Nakoruru, Haohmaru, and Darli Dagger are joining KOFXV as Team Samurai, the last team in KOFXV’s first season, with the team coming in Autumn 2022.

The boys are back! Missing from the base roster of KOFXV, Shingo Yabuki and Kim Kaphwan are returning to the game as the first characters in KOFXV season two! As the two characters are still in very early development, we only have a concept image to go off of.
The Season two DLC teaser also seems to indicate 7 new, individual characters making it to the game, so here’s hoping your fan favorite makes a return to the series!
