Mages. announced Summer Time Rendering: Another Horizon, a “time leap” ADV based on the anime television series Summer Time Rendering. The game is set to release for Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch, but the release date is yet to be unveiled.
The developer also revealed a new visual that depicts the series protagonists Shinpei and Ushio. More information about the game will be released on the newly opened Twitter later on.
▍About Summer Time Rendering
Written and Illustrated by Yasuki Tanaka, Summer Time Rendering started serializing on Shueisha’s digital magazine Shōnen Jump+ from October 2017 to February 2021. An anime television series adaptation by OLM premiered in April 2022. A live-action adaptation has also been announced.
The science fiction suspense story begins when the main character, Shinpei Ajiro, hears the news of the death of his childhood friend, Ushio Kofune, and returns home for the first time in two years to a small remote island in Wakayama City called Nittogashima. Shinpei becomes suspicious when he notices that Ushio’s body has marks around her neck; implying that she was strangled. Now haunted by her ghost and assisted by Mio, Shinpei tries to find the answers to what really happened to Ushio and possibly save the residents from a strange dark enigma.
