Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion Remaster Game System

Missions
In Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, players can clear special missions issued by the Shinra Company and townspeople. New missions are released as you progress through the story and fulfill certain conditions, but they’re mostly optional and aren’t required to progress the main story.

Materia and items are obtained as rewards for completing missions, and the higher the difficulty of the mission, the more valuable the rewards.

Skill Power Gauge
Some powerful enemies use special techniques that require the user to stand still before they can be activated. During this time, you can reduce the power of the technique by attacking the enemy and reducing the gauge, and if you reduce the gauge in time, you can even prevent the enemy from launching the technique.

Materia & Abilities
By spending MP in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, you can use special orbs called Materia. These come in all sorts of types and can be combined into different kinds once you’ve completed a bit of the main story. For example, combining a Fire materia with a Poison materia will give you Dark Flame, which has a chance of poisoning the enemy besides dealing fire damage!

Summons
Via the DMV System’s Summon Mode, you can summon a variety of different deities! Their designs will be changed compared to the original PSP game, but their effects stay the same. This is mostly to uphold the FF7 Remake design.

Chocobo Mode
If you acquire certain patterns, such as ‘Chocobo’ or ‘Cactuar’, the D.M.W may shift to Chocobo mode. If the patterns are matched, the limit technique can be used, but if they are not matched, Zack will instead receive damage and a groggy effect.
