▍About Riven
Riven is a puzzle adventure game developed by Cyan Worlds and released in 1997
Set immediately after the events of Myst, Atrus seeks the help of the player to free his wife from his father, Gehn. Riven is a more linear story compared to Myst, which took place over several ages and stories linked by books.
The main gameplay of Riven revolves around solving puzzles in a point-and-click perspective, observing the environment to find clues and contraptions that will help you reach the end of the section. With the remake being set entirely in 3D, players will likely have to keep a closer eye on their surroundings to find each clue, and puzzles will likely be reworked from the ground up to keep old fans on their toes.
