The In/Spectre anime series based on Kyo Shirodaira’s novel released a new trailer and officially announced the show’s debut date of January 8!
The trailer also previewed the show’s opening theme song, “Yotogibanashi” (ヨトギバナシ) by KanoeRana, along with giving us more scenes and shots from the show’s 2nd season, including returning characters like Rikka Sakuragawa, who is once again portrayed by Mayumi Sako!

The story revolves around Kotoko Iwanaga and Kurō Sakuragawa, two unique individuals who were touched by Yokai, gaining additional powers, but in exchange for these powers, Kotoko had to give up an eye and a leg whilst Kuro’s personal life is a mess. Together they team up to deal with renegades from the spirit world.
The series is originally a novel series published by Kodansha and written by Kyo Shirodaira with illustrations by Hiro Kyohara and since volume 2, by Chasiba Katase. A manga adaptation with art by Chasiba Katase has been serialized since April 2015 in Kodansha’s shōnen manga magazine Shōnen Magazine R. The anime’s first season was broadcasted in January 2020.
