Cells at Work! (はたらく細胞), a manga series about personified cells, released a minute-long animated TV commercial video two days ago (2nd July). Rumour has it an anime adaption is going to be made soon.
The video is made to celebrate the series having one million of copy sold. It was played during a special programme of TV anime Welcome to the Ballroom. The schedule and the high-quality voiced animation have made viewers suspect a TV anime adaption arriving soon.
Written by Akane Shimizu (清水茜) and serialised on Monthly Shonen Sirius since 2015, Cell at Work! features the daily life of various personified human cells and how they work. The protagonist is a female red blood cell called AE3803. The series currently has five volumes.
