A TV anime adaptation for Negi Haruba’s Go! Go! Loser Ranger! manga has been confirmed and it will be directed by Tiger & Bunny’s director Keiichi Sato. A special video and the first key visual have been released alongside the announcement, giving us a glimpse of what the adaptation will look like.
Go! Go! Loser Ranger! is a unique hero battle featuring the nameless fighter “D”, who fights as a low-level combatant of the monsters who keep invading the surface even if they are always defeated. While repeating the farce where the monster side is obligated to lose to the Super Sentai, D decides to stand up and crush them. The manga is serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), and its eighth volume will be released on December 16.
Sato Keiichi, who served as the director of Tiger & Bunny and Inuyashiki, is directing the animation. The special video sheds a spotlight on the monsters which showed up from a floating castle planning to invade the ground. Fighter D challenges Super Sentai’s Red Keeper, as he holds a fearless smile. The first visual also shows Fighter D transforming into a handsome boy using his mimicry ability, and the catchphrase, “Who decided justice and evil?”
