Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc, the anime’s third season based on Koyoharu Gotoge’s manga will begin airing in April 2023. The first episode will be aired as a one-hour special. A new visual was also revealed for the announcement.
It was also announced a World Tour Screening of “Demon Slayer: Gathering of Twelve Kizuki’s Upper Ranks and Swordsmith Village” will be held on February 3, prior to the broadcast of the Swordsmith Village Arc. The anime special consists of episodes 10 and 11 of the Entertainment District Arc and the first episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc. It will be sequentially screened in movie theaters in more than 80 countries and regions around the world, starting in Japan.
Advance tickets will be on sale from December 24 in Japan, dates in other countries are subject to local theaters and will be announced later.
In preparation for the screening, the anime was up-converted in 4K to optimize it for viewing in movie theaters and the music has been re-mixed to suit the theater environment.

▍Demon Slayer Blu-ray & DVD Release
The Demon Slayer Infinity Train and Entertainment District Arc Blu-ray and DVD will be released on February 22 and March 29, 2023, respectively.
▍Demon Slayer Orchestra Concert
An orchestra concert will be held on March 11 and 12, 2023 at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall and also online transmission on a dedicated website for the concert, this will be an event where the audience will be able to relive the story through the live orchestra performance and the full-length movie projected on the screen.
