The TV anime adaptation of Hajime Kōmoto’s Mashle: Magic and Muscles fantasy manga has revealed a new key visual and a teaser PV at today’s Jump Festa 2023 Jump Studio NEO event. The anime is also confirmed to premiere in April 2023.
A stage play adaptation has also been announced at the event.
The series takes place in a world of magic where magic is used for everything. But deep in the forest exists a young man who spends his time training and bulking up, as he can’t use magic, but he enjoys a peaceful life with his father.
But one day, his life is put in danger! Will his muscular body protect him from the magic users who are out to get him? Powerfully trained muscles crush magic as this abnormal magical fantasy begins!
Tomoya Tanaka (Hunter x Hunter, Naruto: Shippuden)will serve as the director of the anime series produced by A-1 Pictures. While Sword Art Online’s Hisashi Higashijima will be doing the character designs, Yosuke Kuroda (Goblin Slayer, My Hero Academia) will be in charge of the series composition. Masaru Yokoyama will be in charge of the music.
