Square Enix has just released the Prologue Video for the upcoming Dragon Quest title, Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time (ドラゴンクエストXI 過ぎ去りし時を求めて).
This upcoming game is the eleventh release of the Dragon Quest franchise. The story will focus on a 16 year-old boy who lives a quiet life in a calm village, but leaves his hometown to venture into the world of Rotozetasia (ロトゼタシア) upon realizing that he has a mission left to complete as the reincarnation of a great hero who once saved the world.

Additionally Square Enix has released a series of TVCM featuring various Japanese celebrities including Tatsuya Fujiwara (藤原竜也), Toshiaki Karasawa (唐沢寿明), Tsubasa Honda (本田翼), and the Nakamura brothers: Nakamura Kankuro (中村 勘九郎) Nakamura Shichinosuke (中村 七之助).
Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time is due out 29th July in Japan for PS4 and 3DS. A Switch version is planned, but no release date is announced as of this moment.
