MAGES. announced today that the third My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Game “Yahari Game demo Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. Kan” (やはりゲームでも俺の青春ラブコメはまちがっている。完) will be coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on April 27, 2023, in Japan.
Based on Wataru Wataru’s My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected, a novel that has sold more than 10 million copies in total, this game will include six unique routes that differ from its original anime and novel!
This is the third game in the Yahari Game demo Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru series of games, containing six new branching routes that depend on the player’s choice, and each heroine will have her own original story.
▍3rd My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Game Characters & Cast
■ Hachiman Hikigaya – CV: Takuya Eguchi
The main protagonist of My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU. Hachiman is a student in class 2F of Soubu High School who is isolated, friendless, and pragmatic to a fault. His most prominent feature is his set of “dead fish eyes”. He firmly believes that “youth” is simply an illusion created by hypocrites, for hypocrites, are born from the ashes of past failures.
■ Yukinoshita Yukino – CV: Saori Hayami
A student in class 2J and the leader of the service club, of which she is the sole member until Hachiman joins. She is from a wealthy family, smart, and beautiful, and is nicknamed the “Ice-cold Beauty” for her icy demeanor.
■ Saika Totsuka – CV: Mikako Komatsu
The president of the tennis club has an androgynous appearance but prefers others to not mistake their gender. Often called “The Prince” by their female classmates.
■ Iroha Isshiki – CV: Ayane Sakura
A first-year student at Sobu High School. She is the club manager of the school’s football club. She acts cute in front of everybody but shows her true colors only in front of Hachiman.
■ Saki Kawasaki – CV: Ami Koshimizu
Hachiman’s classmate seems like a delinquent but wants to make friends deep down. She cares deeply for her brother and she hid her name and age to work in night-shift part-time jobs in order to pay school fees and reduce her family’s load.
■ Shizuka Hiratsuka – CV: Ryouka Yuzuki
Hachiman’s teacher, a language teacher who serves as his future advisor/counselor and the consultant for the service club. She is aware of Hachiman’s supposed “problems”, and takes steps to ensure he is freed from them, her first move being to force him into joining the Service Club.
■ Yui Yuigahama – CV: Nao Touyama
Hachiman’s classmate. She is a cheerful, outgoing girl who becomes the service club’s first “customer”, asking them to help her bake cookies for “a certain someone”. Her problems lie not with her personality, but with her inability to express herself due to fear in losing friends.
▍ 3rd My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Game Story
A few days have passed since the marathon was held under cold weather. There was a calm atmosphere in the club room of the service club.
Iroha: Looks like the Service Club will soon be no more.
Suddenly, the crisis of the Service Club’s survival was thrust in front of us. It all started when a request from the Chamber of Commerce arrived at the school via e-mail.
Hachiman: “I see. Well, that’s…troubling.”
Yui: “Eh, why? It means that the service club is thought to be great, right? Isn’t that a good thing for us and for the school?”
Yukino: “I’m sure that’s true for other clubs, but unfortunately, the service club hasn’t received proper authorization from the school yet, I’m afraid…
Yukino, the club leader who is aware of the situation, agrees with Hachiman’s concerns.
Yes, the service club is not only unapproved but was probably not even recognized by the school in an official capacity.
Hachiman: “We should accept the request from the chamber of commerce and industry and successfully complete it. Then we appeal it to the school as an achievement of our activities and have them recognize the existence of the service club. This would be the only way to protect our current form of activities.”
And so, Hachiman and his team took on the request from the Chamber of Commerce in order to protect the club room of the service club, which was their place…
