The TV anime adaptation of Nazuna Miki’s My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 light novel series has revealed its first trailer and the main cast. The anime will air in Japan in July 2023.
The trailer revealed features the main characters Ryota Sato, who is played by Kaito Ishikawa, and Emily Brown played by Rin Kusumi.
Additional staff members were also announced. Chiho Fukaya is the art director, Aki Watanabe is the color designer, Setsuna Nomura is the director of photography, Masanori Tsuchiya is the sound director, and Endou is the music director.
My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 was debuted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Be Novelists) website in February 2017 by Nazuna Miki. It was later collected into 7 volumes as of November 2019. The novel has inspired a manga adaptation that debuted on Kodansha’s Suiyōbi no Sirius website in May 2018.
My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 centers on Ryota Sato, who is suddenly transported into another world and nearly clobbered at the hands of the young, pretty adventurer Emily Brown. This new world revolves around defeating monsters and profiting off whatever they drop—food, money, items, and more. Ryota quickly realizes that sadly for him, he doesn’t possess any unique skills, but he has an ungodly amount of luck! He can pick up virtually any item from this new world that he wants, with gear that only he can use, but as a result, he’s stuck at level 1!

A salaryman working for an enslaving company is suddenly transported to a mysterious world where everything is dropped from monsters. All of his stats, including physical and magical strength, are at the lowest level possible (F), moreover, his level is fixed at (1). However, has a unique skill (Drop Skill All S), which makes him the strongest even though he is level 1. He will increase the number of his friends with his caring personality and sincerity.
■ Emily Brown – CV: Rin Kusumi
An adventurer girl who uses a large hammer that does not match her petite size. She meets Ryota when he is dropped after defeating a slime in a dungeon. She is honest and kind, but her low drop skill means she earns little money and lives in the dungeon by herself. She has good life skills such as cooking and cleaning.
