About The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero is a single DLC available for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, both contain mostly the same content in terms of its story beats and encounters, and will have to be purchased separately if you want it for both versions of the game.

Both pieces of downloadable content will include over 230 Pokemon living in other regions that weren’t present in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and these include Pokemon you can bring over from Pokemon Home. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC is split into two parts, let’s take a brief look at what we know of them so far!

■ Part 1: The Teal Mask

In The Teal Mask, the player will be taken on a school trip to the land of Kitakami as part of an outdoor training program. Here you’ll be taken to the countryside with great mountains towering over the land, and people living amongst rice paddies and apple orchards.

The trip happens to coincide with a yearly festival held in Kitakami filled with street vendors and stalls as you meet new Pokemon, and unravel the secrets hidden in a folktale told through generations. This DLC also adds new Pokemon Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti, beloved pokemon of Kitakami which you can see in the visual below!
