CyberConnect2 has revealed the battle system, more characters, and the story chapter one for Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2, which is scheduled to release on May 11 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
The battle system of Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 features a turn-based timeline in which characters take turns to attack enemies. Each character is equipped with a unique set of weapons and skills that can be used to strategically defeat the enemy. Players can also switch the position of their characters to take advantage of their weapons’ strengths and the enemies’ weaknesses.
One of the new features is the Leader Skills of the main character Malt Marzipan, which grants additional bonuses to the entire team. Players will have to choose their team wisely to take advantage of these skills and maximize their effectiveness.

A year has passed since the armistice was signed between Berman and Gasco, bringing the war to an end. The children, no longer embroiled in bloody conflict, had each gone their separate ways to enjoy the peaceful lives they fought for. One day, the children received letters from the Gasco Army requesting they convene in Pharaoh, the new capital city.

Age: 58/Felineko
The de facto political head of Gasco. A pacifist whose primary focus is on domestic policy. His late wife passed half a year ago in a tragic accident—one which also left him covered in severe burns.

“All troops, cover the children!”
Age: 63/Caninu
The chief general and supreme commander of the Gasco Army. Though outwardly gruff and fierce, he is a compassionate man with a soft spot for children. He is a close friend of the president.
■ Cannelle Muscat – CV: Sachi Kokuryu
“Eliminate all enemies that obstruct their path!”
Age: 27/Felineko
A lieutenant in the Gasco Army and right-hand officer to General Merlot. Muscat is the president’s eldest daughter, but she chose to defend Gasco via the military versus the political sphere. She is perennially concerned for her sister, Vanilla.

The judgment values for empathy and resolution may increase with Malt’s actions. Malt’s decisions affect his growth as a leader, endowing him with different Leader Skills.
