Manga series Golden Kamuy (ゴールデンカムイ) announced a TV anime adaption today (3rd August) after having sold more than 3.2 millions of copy. The anime will be showcased at the coming Comic Market 92 (11/8 – 13/8).
The manga is written by Satoru Noda (野田サトル) and has been serialised on Weekly Shonen Jump starting 2014. It is set after the Russo-Japanese War, where a Hokkaido miner Saichi Sugimoto searches for a gold stash in the Ainu region. His dangerous adventure is soon joined by an Ainu girl, Asirpa.
More details are yet to be revealed.
