The fighting game JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R by publisher Bandai Namco and developer CyberConnect2 released a new trailer revealing the newest character joining the roster, Keicho Nijimura from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable.
As the third addition to the growing roster of characters offered in the game’s season pass, Keicho will join Risotto Nero and Rudol Von Stroheim on March 24 with one more character expected to be revealed sometime in the future.
Keicho Nijimura was a minor yet influential antagonist that featured in Hirohiko Araki’s manga and anime series, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable. His portrayal in All-Star Battle R has his voice actor from the anime, Tomoyuki Shimura reprising his role as Okuyasu’s brother.
Possessing the Stand Bad Company (or localized as Worst Company), Keicho can manipulate and command a miniature army of patchwork soldiers and armaments that are armed to the teeth with deadly weapons. Despite their reduced size relative to an actual army, the weapons of Bad Company are still dangerous. The infantry’s miniature M16 rifles, land mines, and helicopter missiles were powerful enough to even damage series protagonist Josuke’s stand, Crazy Diamond.
Brother to Okuyasu Nijimura, Keicho is introduced in the series as the first character to possess the iconic Bow and Arrow that creates Stand users and is responsible for creating adversaries for the heroes in foes like Angelo and Aqua Necklace in the past. Keicho liberally creates Stand users in hopes that one of them will be able to kill his monstrously disfigured father.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC via Steam.
