NetEase Games announced the upcoming tactical RPG Trinity Gears Android will be available for early access on April 6, 2023 in Japan. Android players will be able to download the game until May 10, 23:59 [JST]. The download method will be announced later on the day of its release.
Developed by ZIOFEE Studio, Trinity Gears is a tactical RPG that allows players to command the anthropomorphic weapon girls, who are designed based on real-life weapons.
▍Trinity Gears Gameplay
In Trinity Gears, the character models are inspired by real weapons, such as tanks and fighter planes. Players can control over 65 types of tactical armor or gear, known as Tactical Armor. The game features turn-based battles, where players must use the game’s unique cast of characters to defeat the enemy unit called the machine corps “Perimeter” (The Hand).
The scenario of the game also reflects elements of real-world wars, so players can experience the serious and somber atmosphere in a storyline based on historical events.
Tactical Armor is a powerful weapon that far surpasses general weapons. And the girls are the only ones who can control the Tactical Armor necessary to fight the darkness.
Training the girls not only enhances their power but also changes the characters’ appearance and shape of the Tactical Armor. The attention to detail and design will surely meet the expectations of players who love mechas.
The hostile organization known as Perimeter (The Hand) also has a group of evil model girls who have gained unregulated conceptual weapons. The Hand has been destroying the planet’s petroleum energy and launching indiscriminate invasions against the entire human race. Their true purpose, which is still shrouded in mystery, may be revealed as the story progresses.
