Developed by gumi’s Studio FgG, the SRPG Aster Tatariqus officially opens for pre-registration for iOS and Android devices. The game is set to release sometime in 2023.
Produced by Jun Imaizumi, the creator behind The Alchemist Code, Phantom of the Kill, and the recent shutdown Sakura Ignoramus, Aster Tatariqus is set to have “the largest story in volume in the mobile games’ history” in which players have to make options to decide the characters’ fate in the ever-branching stories.
The 3D simulation RPG is set at Aster Academy, a school ground with the goal of training mankind’s finest warriors to repel Barbaroy, a monstrous threat with the aim to destroy everything remaining to mankind and erase it from memory. The main protagonist, Noir, has to work with the “Killers”, those who turn their memories into strength and fight against the monsters.
Players can now pre-register for Aster Tatariqus by following the official Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube or entering their mail on the official site, but the pre-registration tiers and rewards are yet to be revealed.

Aster Tatariqus is a strategic RPG with elements of roleplaying and character growth. The game takes place over several days as you explore the academy, talk to other students and learn precious skills to defeat Barbaroy.
During combat, players will be able to command characters and units to move along a grid, fighting off against enemies with a view of the battlefield.
The gameplay was shown off featured pixel graphics and fully rendered 3D graphics. Presumably, this means that depending on how you explore the story, you can engage in the game with different graphical styles or simply you can choose to play the game in a retro graphics setting or with its fully realized 3D animations.
