Kadokawa’s mobile card game OO-FORMATION (ダブルオー・フォーメーション) previously announced another mobile game, OO-FORMATION: Ou to Hachijin no Nakamatachi (OO-FORMATION ～王と八人の仲間達～). The new title is officially released today (25th August).
The original story of OO-FORMATION is written by light novel Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere’s author Minoru Kawakami. Produced by the same author, the new game is made up of spin-off stories from both OO-FORMATION and Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere.
Ou to Hachijin no Nakamatachi is a card game just like its parent title, and hence the gameplay is not much different. A character has six types of card, with one type ranking higher than the other: "神" → "帝" → "王" → "梅" → "竹" → "松".
All cards’ illustrations are drawn by Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere’s illustrator Satoyasu.
Despite the release of this new game, OO-FORMATION is still running and available for download.
