Aniplex’s YouTube channel has begun streaming the second trailer for the television anime adaptation of Hazano Kazutake’s Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence romantic comedy manga. After being delayed from its original April schedule due to the influence of COVID-19, it was revealed that the anime will now premiere on July 12, 2023. The anime’s first episode will be screened on July 3 at 18:30 [PT]during Anime Expo 2023 held in Los Angeles.
The second trailer previews the anime’s opening and ending songs, with the duo ClariS performing the opening theme “Love World” (コイセカイ), and musical artist sasanomaly performing the ending theme song “Toko Siesta” (トコシエスタ).

Shiro Seijo to Kuro Bokushi, also known as Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence in English, is a Japanese romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Hazano Kazutake. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s online Shōnen Magazine R since April 2017, with its chapters collected into eleven tankōbon volumes.
