Demon Slayer season 4 has been officially announced following the finale premiere of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village Arc, the anime’s season 3, in Japan. The upcoming season will cover the Hashira Training Arc, collected from volumes 15 and 16 of the manga.
The announcement comes with a teaser video and several visuals of the five Hashira; Giyu Tomioka (Water Hashira); Obanai Iguro (Serpent Hashira); Sanemi Shinazugawa (Wind Hashira); Gyomei Himejima (Stone Hashira); and Shinobu Kocho (Insect Hashira).
The Hashira Training Arc continues the journey of Tanjiro as he goes to see the Stone Hashira, Himejima, who intends to prepare him for the battles to come. The training to become a Hashira—a high-ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps—is intense and demanding, and earning Himejima’s approval seems impossible. Meanwhile, the demon lord Muzan continues to search for the location of Nezuko and Ubuyashiki.
On the other hand, the insert song “Kamado Nezuko no Uta,” which was played in the 11th episode of the anime’s season 3, will be available for download on major streaming sites from June 20. The 6th Blu-ray/DVD volume of Swordsmith’s Village Edition will be released on November 22.
