The romance visual novel Fragment’s Note 2+ is set to launch for Nintendo Switch on September 21, as announced by the game’s developer and publisher, Ullucus Heaven.
First released in Japan for iOS and Android as two separate stories, Fragment’s Note 2 Side: Shizuku debuted on August 8, 2013, followed by Fragment’s Note 2 Side: Yukitsuki on February 27, 2014. The English version, which included both stories, was launched on June 3, 2016.
The Switch edition will continue to deliver the narrative of the original stories, following the main character, Kyoichi Akikawa, who lost his family in a tragic plane crash during his childhood. His story intertwines with his stepsister, Shizuku Akikawa, who has supported him throughout the ordeal, and Yukitsuki Asaka, a senior from his academy bearing an uncanny resemblance to Kyoichi’s late sister.
In the Shizuku side story, players will experience the bond and dependency formed between Kyoichi and Shizuku, born from shared tragedy, as their seemingly delicate routine faces a sudden, unexpected ending.
Meanwhile, the Yukitsuki side unfolds after a chance encounter when Kyoichi helps a collapsed Yukitsuki, who recognizes a reflection of her past self in Kyoichi, leading to a complex emotional journey.

Kyoichi Akikawa lost his family in a devastating plane crash when he was just a child.
“Will it really come someday?”
“Will the day ever come when I can truly move on from this pain?”
Kyoichi’s stepsister Shizuku Akikawa has supported him all this time, while Yukitsuki Asaka bears a striking resemblance to Kyoichi’s beloved older sister from before the tragedy.
As the paths of these three fated individuals converge, a mechanical god appears…
This is a story that heads towards the future.

She is Kyoichi’s sister-in-law and one year younger than him. She is shy and withdrawn but has a kind heart for others. Due to an accident in the past, she had lost the will to live, She is on the way to recovery now that she and Kyoichi have become siblings.

A senior at Kyoichi’s academy. Her beauty and kind-hearted personality make her a heroine of the boys. She has a traumatic past and sometimes shows a gloomy expression.

– “Hi Kyoichi, Tsukasa!”
Kyoichi’s classmate. Energetic and cheerful, often setting the mood. Quick-witted but with a somewhat absent-minded side.

– “You’ve really done your best to hang on through it all, Kyoichi.”
Kyoichi’s classmate. Graceful and quiet, a mysterious girl. Has been on a long-term hiatus from the academy due to certain circumstances.
