About Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki

Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki is a Japanese light novel series written by Yuuki Yaku and illustrated by Fly. It began serialization in 2016 under Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko imprint. It has been published in English as Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki by Yen Press since July 30, 2019. A manga adaptation with art by Eight Chida has been serialized in Square Enix’s monthly Gangan Joker magazine since December 2017. A 12-episode anime adaptation was released in the Winter of 2021, with 2 OVA episodes released in May and June 2021.

Tomozaki Fumiya is an incredibly proficient gamer, but sadly his skills in the digital world don’t translate to the real world, and he struggles to fit in with others and make friends, despite how much he wants to be involved. But like with any game, all you really need is a helping hand, and he soon finds some friends in Aoi Hinami, who helps guide him to live the kind of fulfilled school life he’s always wanted.
