This morning, the NIJISANJI EN official Twitter account announced that the Vtuber Mysta Rias will be graduating from the company on August 27, 2023. Debuted in December 2021, Mysta was one of the livers of NIJISANJI EN’s first male-only group LUXIEM. The company stated that the group itself will continue its activity with members Ike Eveland, Vox Akuma, Shu Yamino, and Luca Kaneshiro.
Mysta Rias mentioned on his livestream that all of his videos (including membership-exclusive streams) will turn to private, except the graduation stream. Fans who still wish to send Mysta fan letters will still be able to do so until September 27. Production of his voice packs and merch will also be terminated after his graduation.
According to his recent livestream, the reason he chose to graduate was due to a multitude of factors, the biggest of which was a feeling of burnout in general. Rumors on Twitter said that this feeling may have stemmed from the cancellation of the Nijisanji AR Live back in February of this year, as Shu Yamino, a member from Luxiem, had also gone into a brief hiatus after that notice, but this is just speculation from fans.
