Konami released a new trailer for the Power Pro Baseball Eikan Nine mobile game, which was previously announced in May with a tentative title, and has officially named it Power Pro Baseball Eikan Nine Crossroads.
The game will be released as a free-to-play title on mobile devices this summer, and as the title suggests is focused on the Eikan Nine mode in the Power Pro Baseball series, which many consider to be one of the series’ most popular game modes as you aren’t managing a single baseball player, but an entire team of 9.
In this baseball team management simulator, players take on the role of a high-school baseball club manager and have to guide their team through victory from the three years of high school life until your school can finally manage to win the national tournament. As you are managing a high school team expect your members to graduate from school, and recruit new members as you work your way from your school being weak to one of the best in the nation.
Also known as Power Pros and Jikkyō Powerful Pro Yakyū, it is a Japanese baseball video game series made by Konami, known for its iconic super-deformed characters, and they were usually officially licensed by the NPB association (Nippon Professional Baseball.)
The series is primarily a role-playing game and life-simulator as you are tasked with training the generic power-pro-kun’s from an amateur baseball player to a professional, typically helping aid their career within a 3-year in-game timespan.
