Bandai Namco Entertainment announced a new Taiko No Tatsujin game, titled Taiko no Tatsujin Rhythm Connect, with a planned release in certain Asian countries!
The game will be coming to Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Macao in no particular order, and as such will be available in English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese. The game will feature account binding using the Thai and Indonesian versions of LINE, and Facebook.
The game will feature over 600 songs on launch and is played in portrait mode, allowing you to easily Jam out on the go whenever you want!

The game is a brand new rhythm game for mobile completely played in portrait mode with LINE support! Players can enjoy classic Taiko no Tatsujin gameplay while challenging their friends with over 600 songs from popular artists from Vocaloid music to classical, Game music from Bandai’s other titles! The entire song list can be viewable here.
When booting up the game players can scroll up and down to select a list of songs, and there may be one song added over time for you to check out from the home screen. After selecting a song, you can check out the song’s beat map and rankings, or even leave a comment based on your experience with the track.
When selecting a song you can also search for it by looking up keywords in the search bar. Once you’ve finally selected a track to play, you can use a ticket to play the song just like in any other Taiko title!
To play the game you simply need to tap the screen based on the rhythm, to tap large beats, simply use two fingers to tap at once either on the drum or in its borders for blue beats!
