Publisher Aksys Games and developer Dreamloop Games started streaming a new trailer for its upcoming social thriller game Inescapable: No Rules No Rescue, which will be released for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox One & Series X on October 19, 2023.
Inescapable: No Rules No Rescue is a narrative adventure set at a tropical island resort: Harrison has been kidnapped and forced to participate in a twisted reality TV show with 10 strangers. As a prize, they’ll each receive $500,000…that is if they survive. There are no rules on this island, and escape is also not an option. Just how far are they willing to go to survive?
The actions players take will affect more than just the ending. The player serves as Harrison’s moral compass, so your choices and behavior alter which side of other characters you experience, which in turn changes large portions of the story, the reality show itself, and even the very game mechanics you encounter. Will your choices lead to Lord of the Flies—total anarchy? Or will it be akin to Love Island—romance options and all? Or something else entirely?
If you’re interested in the game, you can currently play a free demo on Steam. This demo includes the first two hours of the game, which should be more than enough to get you acquainted with the cast.
