MIXI’s smartphone sling-shot RPG Monster Strike announced a summer-themed collaboration event with the anime Sword Art Online, which is set to run from August 13 until September 2.
During the event, summer versions of Asuna, Sinon, and Alice will make their debut in the collab gacha, joined by Quinella, Yūki, and Lisbeth, Silica, & Leafa as event rewards. Yui will be featured as a guardian beast, and previous characters and collaboration missions will also be available for players to collect.

During the event period, players will have the chance to obtain summer-themed collaboration characters Asuna, Sinon, and Alice Synthesis Thirty, all coming with a rarity of ★6 with increased draw rates. This gacha will not include characters from the first and second collaborations.
Players can also earn Tokudamas that allow a chance to draw in the gacha. These tokens can be obtained by completing The Seed Mission and by logging into the game.
The event also brings back a gacha with 10 characters from the first and second collaborations, available for a limited time during the same period. Asuna, Kirito, Sinon, Leafa, and Silica & Lizbeth return from the first collaboration, while Eugeo, Alice Synthesis Thirty, Bercouli Synthesis One, Ronye & Tieze and Cardinal return from the second collaboration.

▍Monster Strike x Sword Art Online Collab Quests
Running from August 13 to September 2, players will have the chance to engage in three quests rewarding with collab characters like Ruler of Everlasting Summer Administrator, Festival Fairy Illuminating the Summer Night Yūki, and Beach Fairies Leafa, Silica & Lisbeth.
For each quest completed, players receive five orbs, with a total of up to 15 orbs available for completing all three quests. Additional clear bonuses are also available, ranging from three to ten quest Boss rewards depending on the number of clearances.

The collaboration event also introduces the guardian beast Festival-Enjoying AI Yui, available through the ultimate difficulty quest Wandering Reaper. By achieving 50 hits in a turn four times, players activate the guardian skill, giving advantages in battle.

▍Monster Strike x Sword Art Online Collab Mission Event
The Seed Mission invites players to travel across three worlds: Alfheim Online, Gun Gale Online, and Underworld. Starting on August 13 and running until September 5, players can log in to these worlds, unlocking missions based on the number of logins. A wait time of 8 hours will occur between each login to different worlds.
Upon achieving missions, players can gain rewards like medals, collaboration-exclusive items and “good job” stamps. As players gain EXP, The Seed Mission level increases.

Rewards are based on the LEVEL and by gaining a certain number of EXP, players can level up and obtain rewards like a collab Striker Card. Rewards also include reduced waiting time and doubled experience points when clearing quests. EXP can be obtained by clearing various quests and using collaboration characters in those quests. Clearing collaboration quests related to the logged-in world will grant double EXP.

Previous collaboration quests will reappear during this event, featuring characters like Eugene, Kuradeel, Oberon, Death Gun, Heathcliff, and Yūki. Additional quests featuring Chudelkin, Vassago, Iskahn, Administrator, and Dark God Vector will also be available.
Rewards include 1 orb for every cleared quest. Limited daily clear bonuses for Heathcliff and Vassago quests allow players to receive seven characters as rewards. Boss drop chances and golden egg drop rates are increased in multiplayer mode. These quests will be available from August 13 to September 2.

During the event period, logging in will gift items, including Yui’s Good Job stamp, Tokudamas, and other items. The gift schedule spans from August 13 to August 29 and includes a variety of rewards like stamina, continue items, helper items, and more.
