Aokana’s Developer Announces everlasting flowers, a Visual Novel Coming to PS4 and Switch in 2024

Sprite, the studio behind visual novels Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue and Love, Election and Chocolate, announced everlasting flowers, a new visual novel that is set to launch for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The visual novel will be available in Japan in 2024 and will also feature language support for English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.

The cast of Everlasting Flowers includes voice actresses Reina Ueda, Lynn, Chiwa Saitō, Miyu Tomita, and Tomoko Miyadera. The opening theme song “Convallaria” is performed by Riko Azuna, with lyrics by Ceui and composition and arrangement by Ryuutarou Fujinaga of Elements Garden. The ending theme song details remain to be announced, but Ceui is revealed to be the singer, with the same compositional team behind it.

The novel’s production staff includes Suzumori as the Art Director and Yohira as the scriptwriter, with Jun Azami serving as the Production Designer. Sound Director Takatoshi Hamano from Magic Capsule will oversee the audio, while Elements Garden is responsible for the music. The project also includes Audio Production by Magic Capsule, Logo Design by BALCOLONY, and translation into English and Simplified Chinese by Frontwing. Planning and production are handled by Sprite, with distribution managed by RIGHTWAY.

The promotional video opens with the phrase “I wanted to trap you here,” followed by a glimpse into the visual novel’s opening theme. No further details were revealed at this time and it is expected that information such as the plot and a specific release date will be announced at a later date.
