Team17 has launched the long-awaited sequel to its moving action game Moving Out 2 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Priced at USD $29.99, the game is currently offering a 10% discount on Nintendo eShop for those who purchased the previous game. Purchasing both games also comes with a discount in the other stores.
Moving Out 2 continues the legacy of its 2020 predecessor, employing exaggerated physics effects in an overhead action game perspective. Players assume the role of F.A.R.T. (Furniture Arrangement and Relocation Technicians) specialists, assisting residents of Packmore in their moving needs. The gameplay consists of loading items like sofas, refrigerators, and microwaves onto trucks within a limited time, then rearranging them at the new location. The task is complicated by fragile items and unconventional stages, with puzzle difficulty seemingly increased compared to the first game.
In addition, a DLC for the game, The F.A.R.Tastic 4 Pack, was also released at USD$ 4.99, featuring four new employees. The sequel has been enhanced to support online multiplayer, allowing players to not only move around Packmore but also enjoy moving around the multiverse with friends.
