The Star Named EOS Puzzle Adventure Game Launches on PC in 2024

PLAYISM and Silver Lining Studio announced that its upcoming story-based Puzzle Adventure game, The Star Named EOS will be launching for PC via Steam in 2024.

The game was previously supposed to launch within 2023, however, with the latest announcement and trailer shown during the Playism Game Show, the game is being delayed for a 2024 release window with an unspecified date.

The game takes players on a journey through the lens of a photographer following the footsteps of their missing mother, piecing together her past through several photos and letters she sent to him. Within those letters though is a strange picture, turning the photographer’s world upside down and leading them on an adventure of a lifetime…

About The Star Named EOS

Travel through a journey of a beautiful hand-drawn world and interact with everything you see in the puzzle-based adventure game. You take on the role of Dei, a young photographer who is trying to piece together his past and reconnect with his mother by returning to his childhood home and learn why his mother disappeared all those years ago and move on.

As you explore his room you’ll come across several puzzles and items from his childhood, solving these will unlock more parts to the story and bring you closer to the truth as you piece together a story from a non-chronological order of images and letters.

As a photographer, you can also take pictures of the space using your own camera, and also attempt to recreate old photographs using the plethora of items and toys laying around the room to further trace your memories.
