Kyoto Animation’s TV anime series Free! will have season three in Summer 2018. The teaser illustration can be seen in Free!-Take Your Marks-, the new animation movie that has just opened in Japan.

Episode zero of the new series will be played at two special events, “The Bond”, and “The Promise”. Passes to purchase the event tickets can be found in the Blu-ray and DVD of Free! The Movie -Timeless Medley- the Bond, and Free! The Movie -Timeless Medley- the Promise, which will be sold starting 1st November and 6th December respectively.
Free! is based off Kaji Oji’s (おおじ こうじ) light novel High☆Speed!. Haruka Nanase, Makoto Tachibana, Rin Matsuoka, and Nagisa Hazuki used to be teammates in their elementary school’s swimming club. Haruka no longer swims in his high school days, but a sudden encounter with Nagisa leads him to reunite with Makoto and Rin. With the additional new member Rei Ryugazaki, the boys begin swimming together again. The first TV anime aired in 2013 while the second season aired in 2014.
