Previously Niantic held a Global Catch Challenge, challenging Pokemon Trainers around the world to catch as many Pokemon as they can, promising bountiful rewards. As a result, trainers across the globe have caught over 3 billion Pokemon during the challenge duration!
In celebration of this whopping success, Niantic has announced that the legendary Pokemon Ho-oh will be appearing in Raid Battles around the world from now until 12th December 2017!
