Non Non Biyori will be back this Summer! The latest anime work, Non Non Biyori The Movie: Vacation (劇場版 のんのんびより ばけーしょん), will be available in Japan’s theatre starting 25th August 2018.
A trailer is also up now. According to the video, it seems like Hotaru, Renge, and their friends are in Okinawa to enjoy their Summer holiday, but a concrete synopsis is yet to be available at the moment.
Vacation is now directed by Shinya Kawatsura at SILVER LINK., with screenplay provided by Reiko Yoshida.
Non Non Biyori is Atto’s (あっと) slice-of-life manga serialized in Monthly Comic Alive. The story follows Hotaru Ichijo, a primary school girl who transfers to the countryside of Asahigaoka and tries to adapt to her new life with her new friends. It has been made into two anime series in 2013 and 2015.
